I think the most important was the gas mask and the submarine because the gas mask protected people from death, and the submarine because it allowed soldiers to go undected through the sea.

I think the trench because it helped them hide from the enemy instead of just being out in the open and not being able to cover themselves.

I think it would have to be the poison gas and the machine gun because the fight would have been longer than what it was.

I think that the trenches were the most important because it created a form of some protection for the countries in battle. If they wouldn't have had the trenches then the war could have ended quickly due to the fact that they would have been battling on an open field.

I think it was the trenches because if you were standing in the middle of no mans land it wouldnt be the smartest tactic in the world. along with the machine gun that prevented people from getting into the trench.

I think the Flamethrower and Machine Gun were the most important, because without them the stalemate would never had been broken so the war would have lasted longer, there for more money would have been spent on the war and less on the people therefore with more casualties.

I think the poison gas was the most significant. The trenches were also important. The poison gas helped killed them out faster than using all the ammunition. The trenches were also helpful because they had somewhere to hide during the war.

Poison gas was a significant way to cause a large number of casualties in warfare. If poison gas was released in the enemies trench, the toxin could travel through it and wipe out a very large number of soldiers. A negative effect of this would be, wind change. The side who released the poison may have caused there own death count to increase. Either way, this method could be used to cause a massive number of casualties.

I think Trench Warfare was the most important thing because it was a way for both sides to have a hiding place but it was also harder because it was hard to attack the enemy within a distance away!

There were many different inventions that helped during World War 1. I think one of the most important things was the trenches. It gave them a place to hide from the enemy. One problem was it did take longer for the fight, and it was very bloody and harsh.

I think it would be. Trenches, because if you have trenches it allows u to hide and and to keep safe from getting shot at and it's safer so that u aren't out on flat land. It makes people's lives last longer also.

Honestly I think that the submarine is the best choice that came for the war because then they could make the war ongoing by making it underwater. Also they could track the other people's ships down and take them down by bombs/ (can't remember what its called)
