There would be a lot more banks without the great depression. However, not as many would be safe and we most likely wouldn't have the fraction reserve system.

If the great depression had not happened, we would still be over producing farm products.

Some people are still afraid to put their money in the bank and most of the people who do put their money in the bank also have a stash of money somewhere. People still have the fear the money they worked for is going to disappear and they wont have anything.

The Great Depression is left today as a lesson learned. They made mistakes back then, and they learned from them. We lost banks, money, and trust. After the Depression, we are left with acts of many.

The only thing I can think of that no one else has said was the one thing Coach Gray said about how we had to kill all the animals, like pigs, and cows, the farm animals!

The great depression is left for us to be taught about. It is left for us to be taught about because during that time there was a lot of mistakes. We don't want to make the same mistakes like we did then. I thought it was a okay topic to learn about to.

Some people may still not trust some banks today. Some people may also still be poor from the Great Depression, and couldn't bounce back to get a job, and get the education they need.

For one it helps the banks to be ready for another downfall where they guarantee the peoples money back even through a stock market crash. Also, for those of us who still have grandparents from the depression, a lot of the things that they do is what they were taught to do in the depression and also what they say and what they talk about sometimes ties into the great depression. Our grandparents show us things about the depression when or if they do something old fashioned to maybe teach us and for us to learn things that they learned during the great depression.

The Great Depression still effects us today in that without the Great Depression we wouldn't have insurance an bank accounts to ensure the safety of the peoples money. People are more cautious about where and how they invest their money and watching their credit so they aren't overspending so much that they get items repossessed. Still today people spend more money than they have.

By studying the great depression our government has developed new methods of banking to make them more secure and to make the stock market more accessible to the people and safer to engage in

The Great Depression still affects us today because many Americans today are still afraid that there will be another stock market crash so they rely on hiding their money and not keeping it in the bank.
